2021 Yankees Season

Your rooting is always welcome. Hope your day gets better at the casino.
I left, thank God. The funny thing, or not really funny, after falling behind, I rallied and got back to even. Well, seeing how I am even, maybe I can make a few bucks. Bad choice. But that is why they call it gambling and I never whine about losing. But it was Cole's fault.

Nowadays, it seems like baseball doesn't want a .300 hitter whose "long ball" is a double. They're willing to trade the strikeouts for the potential homers as players do all the time what most of us were told not to do when we learned to play organized baseball, "swing for the fences."

its kind of like b-ball. Everything is a dunk or a 3 pointer.

Didn't Scherzer put the Yankees on his no trade list? (and the Mets?). Doesn't want to pitch in NY.

All the luxury tax does is build up the competition. This is a race for a one game play in, so why subsidize smaller market teams in the process?
An earlier post said both NY teams were on his "No Trade" list.

Xander Boagerts is exactly this hitter you describe. He hits a lot of doubles because he isn’t swinging for launch angle all the time.

Yankees should have made these trades a week ago.

Mind as well go all-in and get Story as well.

Tampa/Boston runnerup is likely making the Wild Card play-in.

These moves are like the Yankees expect 8 playoff teams per league.

Vizcaino is the #9 prospect, RHP, currently at Hudson Valley.

Alcantara is #12 prospect, OF, currently playing in a Florida rookie league.

Where are they putting story?

Like Rizzo better than Gallo.
The yanks have really improved their defense. First base and outfield. Both guys from the left side. Neither hits for an average but there is plenty of power.

I love when my favorite players get to play for my two favorite teams: Joe Pepitone, Bobby Murcer, Alfonso Soriano and now Rizzo. Riz will need to find a new number.

#48 is available.

The 90's are wide open. :D
