Would guess the former. I know they need another arm, and yes I saw Davis run last night, but I would like to know the thinking of keeping Davis over Allen.

Allen was designated a COVID replacement player. They can recall him from SWB without waiting 10 days if they have to.

Okay, good. I wondered about that, couldn't remember for sure. I didn't know if the replacement player was tied to a specific player or position or if there were any other restrictions.

He’s going to love playing 81 games in this stadium.

He’s was always a low BA pull hitter, so it’s not like he’ll turn into Giambi who drooled his way out of hitting the ball to all fields.
