2021 Yankees Season

With Britton likely done for the year, a guy like Peralta becomes huge. Boone having him warm right now as Chapman of course walks the nine hitter makes a ton of sense.

Whatever we do this offseason we have to move Chapman, won't get much for him but you have to think we can bump Loisaga or something. Can't keep doing this every other appearance.

Freddie got fingered !!

David Feherty: “Watching Phil Mickelson play golf is like watching a drunk chasing a balloon near the edge of a cliff.” Lately that's what it feels like when Chapman is pitching.

And when he's on, he's an unstoppable force, just like Phil.

Odor at 3rd is an adventure

I just watched the replay on MLB.com, and that wasn't an especially difficult play, and it's certainly one you expect a pro to make in that situation. It's my understanding Tyler Wade, who was sitting on the bench, is a better fielder than Odor.

It looks like Urshela is about ready to return, for which I will be very glad.

Wade is a middle infielder, and Odor a second baseman, by trade. Neither have been particularly great or awful at third from what I've seen of them.

It is my turn to complain during an eleven-game winning streak. John Sterling was a disaster in the ninth inning last night. He has been particularly bad in road games this season because he is not calling the games in-person, but last night was so bad. At some point I think he forgot most of the audience can not see the action. On multiple occasions he neglected to state if a pitch was a strike or ball. I was relying on the crowd noise to figure out what was happening.

if he doesn’t retire after this season, I’m going to learn Spanish so I can listen to that broadcast.
