Paton ain’t messing around. We’re comin for you Chefs…The cowboys really fkd that deal up, I wonder how common that is, changing the verbiage in a contract?

I know the Jags have a lot of coin to spend. Doesn't mean they should overpay everybody.
There is this issue with him being unable to catch the ball.. other than that … great signing

Alsacs what are the Patriots doing??? Certainly not trying to keep their best players.

Cap move.
They save money.
Mason is a great run blocker but not as good a pass blocker the last few years.
I think the Pats will try to resign Trent Brown at tackle and then find a new guard in the draft.

Mason was solid overall but he was starting to decline. Belichick is saving cap space to probably add a WR.

JC Jackson good player but not worth the money.
I think Patriots are going to suck next year and come back for 2023.
They will have over 100 million in cap space in 2023 without cap spike.

Listened to some Felger & Mazz today, needless to say Bill was getting killed for the lack of FA moves and trades.

5th rounder seems cheap for Mason.

Randy Gregory going to Denver is right on brand for a guy who loves the mary jane the way he does.

Haha. Cowboys are lucky they didn't pay it. Guy is almost getting a mill per year for each of his career sacks. Drafted in 2015 and has 50 career games and 16.5 sacks so far...

The story is other than Dak they put that verbiage in every contract. Considering Gregory's past history with weed I don't blame them in this particular case.

So you’re saying what was reported wasn’t true? They were saying the verbiage was changed after he agreed to the contract.

Comes down to who you want to believe. The Cowboys who say that clause is in every one of their contracts or Gregory's agent. I know I do not believe the agent because he reps other Cowboy players who have that very same clause that he claims to never have seen in his 30 years in the business.

What I believe is that a guy with a known pot issue wanted to be in Colorado.

Yeah I don’t know who to believe on the contract, but I do know I couldn’t care less about weed. The new cba basically “green” lights it. Von was one of the most well known weed advocates in the league when they still suspended you for it, and that worked out pretty well. He just needs to perform on the field

My understanding is that because he was busted under the old pot rules that those rules still apply. I could be misreading that however.

I hope he works out for y'all in Denver. I was not heartbroken to see him go.

Miller coming in at 6 years, 120 million.

That's way steep for a guy who is 32 years old.
It’s really more like 3 years, 50+ million which is the market rate for a guy of his caliber and age.
