Is it a given that Watson is just going to go to Cleveland and dominate?

I know Houston was terrible and Watson had great stats/has great talent, but he still went 4-12.

Can you imagine Brady, Mahomes, Rodgers or Josh Allen going 4-12? There’s something missing there.
I mean we’ll see what happens but I don’t expect him to even play much this season.

Houston was beyond terrible.. nobody could have done anything with that team

Think the only position group Baltimore is clearly better at is TE. Cleveland roster is pretty superior.
Baltimore’s DBs in the very least are clearly better too. Really the defense overall. I expect Cleveland to make some other moves to try to build up the team quickly though.

That’s a lot of massages … although no way the Cleveland massage scene is better then Atls or Nola’s.. so maybe this is a sigh he’s trying to avoid temptation

Watson is going to be paid $46 million per year and he's not going to play much? That seems unlikely to me.

His salary for next season is only $1 mil because he knows he’s likely going to be suspended for most of it so the suspension won’t actually hurt his wallet

3 number one picks and all that fully guaranteed money for a guy who has already sat out a year and will sit out at least part of next. JFC

Just saying if Zeke got 6 games for 1 accusation then Watson best get the entire season for 22.

Mr Kraft got nothing

I had written out secondary ad well and then had to go look at it and it's fairly close. Denzel Ward is best on either team. They have Newsome and Greedy who are both graded solid and then John Johnson and Delpit are a decent safety combo too. Marcus Williams and a healthy Peters leans it to Balt but it's a lot closer than initial thought.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets the same 6 game suspension guys like Zeke, Big Ben, etc got but either way they better have a good backup in place for this first season if they want to make the playoffs.

Sounds like Keenum is that guy. I think Watson’s allegations are worse than those guys. In no way am I happy with the Saints running out Winston against, but I wouldn’t have been able to stomach this move had Watson gone to NO. I did think he would have ultimately selected Atlanta though.

And this is still Cleveland so I expect something to not go according to their plan.

It’s definitely worse. Just not sure that will matter to the NFL.

Probably depends on what the media response is. So far it hasn’t been great and it was effectively a Friday afternoon news dump. If the Browns are good and he plays the story is going to be there for the media to pound all year. I could see a year suspension to just “protect the shield”.

I have mixed feelings on suspension length as he already sat out a full year due to the same thing. Not minimializing the allegations but anything more than another 4-6 games would be a lot in addition to the 17 he already sat.

He got paid for all those games though because it wasn’t a suspension.

I get it. But was what it was. He was healthy and suited up for 0 games due to off field issues.

I get that, too. My thinking though is that the NFL can't get away with handing out no suspension time, and they shouldn't. And they wont.

Nope, twitter mob already have the pitchforks out after him getting a raise.

Unless Atlanta is tanking (which they might be and I wouldn’t blame them), this seems pretty dumb.

Seems likely their going full rebuild. They have issues on the O-line at WR and pretty much the offense in general. With Ryan's age and Brady back probably decided to tear it down and start over. The division outside of TB is pretty meh so perhaps they will try to compete but seems unlikely.

Yeah I get it. It’s just…paying $40 million for a 3rd round pick and then paying even more to replace him is just really steep.

Atlanta takea a huge dead money hit next year and can suck.
Problem is they shouldn’t have taken Pitts last year in a rebuild.

Ryan isn’t elite anymore.
Commanders overpaid for Wentz though.

They could have gotten Mayfield or Ryan if they waited.
