Be interesting to see who they can hire for that job knowing Wilson is your QB. I’d probably hold out for a better opportunity even if I was desperate for my first head coaching opportunity
I suppose they could try and go after a cheap veteran to try and push Russ? Someone like Nick Foles or Jacoby Brissett?

Garoppolo will be way to expensive I’d imagine, but I think we are going to see an offseason of a lot of QB movement. Outside of about 8 teams I don’t think anyone’s married to their starters.

Rypien is going to be gone so this is in play

Have to think Kliff Klingsbury and Kevin Stefanski will be next. Brandon Staley will be gone if the Chargers don’t make the playoffs.

Nah, there's only 32 of these jobs in the world, and knowing you have the richest owner in the league helps. Also to add, coaches ego's that they can fix anything
Yep, once you’re in that club, you have lifetime tenure. No matter how bad you are at your job, there will always be a soft landing spot for you.

Klingsbury was an awful hire to begin with. I’d be shocked if he was the Cardinals HC to start the ‘23 season.

Stefanski, I think is 50/50. His hands were somewhat tied by bad personnel decisions/management.

The Chargers seem almost a cinch to make the playoffs this year.

Lane Johnson will miss the Eagles last two regular season games with an abdominal injury. Status for the playoffs is TBD. In his career the Birds are 33 games over .500 when he plays and ten games under .500 when he does not. Hasn't given up a sack since 2020.

Johnson is particularly important in blocking either Micah Parsons or Nick Bosa - should they meet in the playoffs - although Parsons doesn't line up over Johnson anymore. He tried it in the game in October and got nowhere.

Am I the only one that has seen enough of the entire defense running to the end zone and posing after a interception?
I don’t understand what the heck they are doing to be quite honest.

This MNF game is crazy. 3 INTs in the first 10 minutes

Hackett sucked but Russ is washed. Doesn't matter who the next HC is.

Losing Lane for the next 2 and potentially longer (or not being 100% healthy for the playoffs) is a huge loss for the Birds.

Also, losing Maddox is rough too. When he plays the slot/TEs don't do much. Hopefully, they get Gardner-Johnson back.
