The media infatuation with McDaniel is funny to me. He has the Dolphins at 8-7, which is the same as their record last year after 15 games, with Flores at HC. Of course, Flores didn’t have Hill, Armstead or Chubb on last year’s roster.

For better or worse, I feel like the Dolphins have been 8-7 after 15 games in like 75% of the seasons over the last 25 years.

I mean, objectively speaking, how exactly has McDaniel overachieved so far?

Maybe McDaniel is a great young NFL HC, and maybe Tua is the long-term answer for the Dolphins at QB...both remain to be seen at this time.

Without getting hurt his 3rd season would be looking a lot like Josh Allen’s. Im not saying Tua’s near his level but Tua’s clearly a good quarterback.

No reasonable person expected them to be a superbowl contender this year. Their db’s are badly dinged up and our running games still not developed.

McDaniel has to do a better job involving Gesicki too.
