No I get it. He would be leaving his old man to handle the league on his own. I know Jake Murphy helped him coach last yr and told me that they have been trying to get coaches so Chanachuck didn't have to do it anymore. Was to much for him in the summer with him traveling for PLL games. It's definitely a big step up and will set him up for a HC job in the future. It's tough to get consistent coaches in summer as most are younger just doing it in summer for extra cash when home from school. Like Jake now that he's graduated he got a teaching job and landed the varsity lacrosse HC job at Bellport HS. He's coaching his HS team in summer league now.it's his alma mater, it's a huge step up in prestige, and he'd def get more money. he'd consider it... the biggest obstacle is the timing, no one wants to change jobs right before the season
I'm sure Mikes dad would want him to take the Maryland job so maybe he sells the league or finds someone to take Mikes job as his partner.
