2023 PGA Tour

Wow, Hovland did the exact same mistake that Conners did at #16 yesterday that derailed his round as well. Probably ends Hovland.

Block is a great story but in listening to him the final two rounds he seemed to be a bit of douche.

He then did the post round interview today and seemed like totally different guy.

Does anyone know where this photo was taken? That is not the SU chalet. I was in the SU chalet (along side the 18th) on friday and they said Boeheim was there Wednesday for the Jim Nance ceremony (?) but wasn't coming back.

Maybe the Wilmot's home.

What is perfectly obvious is that if you want to have an undisputed, historical, major golf event, you need to invite ~15 of the top LIV players. The Ryder Cup, Players, and the PGA already have an asterisk in my mind. In the future, if the majors require LIV players to qualify that would not normally have to, then more asterisks.

The PGA, R&A, and the USGA aren't directly involved in pro golf, except for one tournament each. Why are they comprising their events for the benefit of the PGA-Tour and the DP!?

Can Hovland win on U.S. soil?
Victor is getting uncomfortably close to Schauflee / Fowler territory. Getting close multiple times in majors and not closing the deal

My understanding is that he plays and wins a lot of SoCal tournaments, and that is why this is his 7th PGA Championship.
He’s also played in some SoCal PGA events like the AmEx

Hovland is still 4 years younger than Xander. Fowler may go down as one of the biggest disappointments in the modern era.

Hovland has 7 wins (including 2 wins in Tiger’s unofficial event.

Maybe Bermuda or Canada is next.

Morikawa 14/1
Sungjae 22/1
Henley 35/1
Todd 75/1
Champ 300/1

Knew Hideki was going to chit his pants when he missed the birdie putt on the first par 5. Frustrating as hell.

Had Morikawa, too, and thought he was going to go on a run today. I am running cold as hell since I hit Clark at Wells Fargo.

Was it me or did Jack Nicklaus look terrible during the broadcast?
