I was there Tuesday. Put my fingers down in the rough. It was up to the knuckles on the hand. (3rd knuckle?) DeChambeau was 1-2 clubs short on #1 out of the rough.
I had a picture of my foot in the rough to show how thick it was but I might have deleted it. When I was there Wednesday I was surprised they didn't practice more out of the rough.I was there Tuesday. Put my fingers down in the rough. It was up to the knuckles on the hand. (3rd knuckle?) Kim really burst onto the scene last year. An easy guy to root for. Plus, he made a ton of new fans yesterday.
Cut could go as high as +6I had a picture of my foot in the rough to show how thick it was but I might have deleted it. When I was there Wednesday I was surprised they didn't practice more out of the rough.
It will be interesting to see what adjustments the players make today. Only 19 players out of 156 under par yesterday. Looks like the cut line will be maybe +3, but could be +4 or +5, depending on today's results.
Agree. Yesterday the winds were really calm. That made for ideal scoring conditions. Today the winds are supposed to howl. 25-30 mph gusts. It is going to take some great golf to score par today.Cut could go as high as +6
Yikes. Talk about a brain fart.Young's Day 2 climb at PGA stalls with penalty
Cameron Young was hit with a 2-stroke penalty after moving his ball and forgetting to put it back ahead of a short put for par on the 16th hole Friday.www.espn.com
Ordered on Tuesday... no tickets yet. Called stubhub at 9:30 am, said I would have replacement tickets in 20 minutes... nothing yet. Just called stubhub again... told I would have replacement tickets in 4-5 hours.Stubhub and AXS are both terrible
It really is. Golf may have some dumb rules in some people's opinion, but that one is pretty straight forward.Yikes. Talk about a brain fart.
Oak Hill should get a US Open again
Only 9 guys under par out of the 76 who made the cut. The weather Saturday could make a difference, especially with it supposedly clearing up somewhat later in the afternoon when the leaders will be teeing off. Moving day should be a fun day.I had a picture of my foot in the rough to show how thick it was but I might have deleted it. Wow. He’s over the top at times but I view him as a national treasure. Please tell me Jim Nantz will be retiring from golf soon?
He can take Ian Baker Finch with him.
Man how would you have liked to have been Michael Block the last couple of days?
My fave story of the week.
