I was there Tuesday. Put my fingers down in the rough. It was up to the knuckles on the hand. (3rd knuckle?) DeChambeau was 1-2 clubs short on #1 out of the rough.
I had a picture of my foot in the rough to show how thick it was but I might have deleted it. When I was there Wednesday I was surprised they didn't practice more out of the rough.

It will be interesting to see what adjustments the players make today. Only 19 players out of 156 under par yesterday. Looks like the cut line will be maybe +3, but could be +4 or +5, depending on today's results.

Cut could go as high as +6

Agree. Yesterday the winds were really calm. That made for ideal scoring conditions. Today the winds are supposed to howl. 25-30 mph gusts. It is going to take some great golf to score par today.

I much prefer to see the pros struggling against a really tough golf course. This course and setup is right in my wheelhouse. I hope the winner ends up 3 or 4 under par.

Stubhub and AXS are both terrible
Ordered on Tuesday... no tickets yet. Called stubhub at 9:30 am, said I would have replacement tickets in 20 minutes... nothing yet. Just called stubhub again... told I would have replacement tickets in 4-5 hours.

Team Ticketmaster forever

Only 9 guys under par out of the 76 who made the cut. The weather Saturday could make a difference, especially with it supposedly clearing up somewhat later in the afternoon when the leaders will be teeing off. Moving day should be a fun day.

Please tell me Jim Nantz will be retiring from golf soon?
He can take Ian Baker Finch with him.

Jim Nantz - "Here's a factoid for you that you might not know. Sylvester Stallone's wife, Jennifer, has a sister who is married to Dr. Eversomething, and that doctor was the one that operated on Brooks Koepka's knee"

Good grief. Please go away,

Golf and the course is great, but Nantz is making it worse somewhow.

course was amazing friday.. Did anyone see the shank that Block hit on 5? I was there when it happened.. We really though someone was going to get killed as did he..

Man how would you have liked to have been Michael Block the last couple of days?

My fave story of the week.

If he can get somewhere around top 10, the payout would be quite meaningful for him... not quite lifechanging, but very meaningful. (compared to a regular tour player)

Hope he can finish it off with a good round tomorrow.

Conners makes his first big mistake of the day -- tough double bogey on 16, and falls out of the lead for the first time all day.

Let's go Corey. I don't think I will go to the Canadian Open this year (see my thoughts above) unless Conners wins... I would want to go salute him if he did.

More than a few in the Crowd cheering USA after Corey Conners misses his putt on #18. Classy stuff  (although I suspect for some that was somewhat inspired by a few too many refreshments)

Note, I have no issue when this happens at international team competitions. But not at a major (or any individual event)
