2023 Yankees Season

I try not to ever push for firing (unless there are non-sport related transgressions, like arrests etc), but how can Boone and Cashman come back?
Probably not on a year to year so they would have to pay them if they fire them.

Boone (1.2 million) makes as much as Cole does by throwing 7 innings. Signed through 2024 apparently.

Cashman, I would guess, makes about 4-5 million.

Sad but true. The pitching staff being depleted and no one is hitting to their historical stats

This painful ineptitude at the plate is the continuation of a trend that first showed itself in August 2021, which was temporarily masked by Judge's HR epic last year. Other than the acquisition of Bader and the resigning of Judge and Rizzo, there seems to be no movement toward any resolution. And while I'm at it, there's the depressingly dogged pursuit of pitchers who sign and then rarely if even ever actually pitch. Whatever the plan, if there is one other than just to try to react, the evidence on the field seems to suggest it's time for a change.

We are going to get absolutely annihilated vs Atlanta. Looking forward to seeing the studs their lineup has though.
I didn't have the heart to bet on Atlanta but I did profit on the Yankees team total Under bets for 3 games.

I think baseball is done for the year for me. There will be a bit of a lull until football starts, but it is better than the hell that the Yankees are putting us fans through.

Translation: Don’t want to start that clock. September 1 is soon enough given where this season is headed.
You can start the clock with 45 games remaining. Just can't let them exceed 130 AB's so they will retain rookie status.
