ExactlyIf he builds UNLV into a winner we will not be able to afford him.

SU apparently does tooUNLV seems to have major financial issues. If Hodgson puts together a good year he can easily be one-and-done to Cuse.
And if he doesn’t we won’t want him. Me, I can’t see the future as clearly as some of you guys.If he builds UNLV into a winner we will not be able to afford him.

lol if he bombs there cue the Wasn't crazy about him from the start / Lucky we dodged that bullet in unison, such is the wayCorrect either way he will not coach here probably. So that is over. If he bombs there we wont want him If he does well a bigger school with deeper pockets will

Yeah, he does feel like one of those guys who with the necessary resources/backing will build and maintain a winnerNah I will say I was wrong because I liked him. I liked him because he ran a modern offense. Multiple high pick and roll offense trying to isolate mismatches and either dunks or 3s. He is very intense, good recruiter, and from the northeast and at the time was very very cheap. All seem like a good fit for us. Will he be a good P4 coach who knows but that is worth a gamble IMO if we weren't going to break the bank for a proven coach.
yep, was (mostly) tongue-in-cheekDisagree with "in unison". There are posters who happily admit they are wrong when they were wrong...and some who don't/won't
There is absolutely nothing that would make him a great fit at Syracuse.Another Coach who we haven’t spoken about who could be a great fit at Syracuse is Darvin Ham. lead assistant with the Bucks and was the Lakers head coach for two years. (90-44 record) He’s known as a great defensive coach
Yes, it’s true, just heard it from the inside at USF
Wow. Out of left field.
Used UNLV for more money, savageOur Arkansas State guy just became HC at South Florida.
We won’t be able to afford him one year from now? I’m no worried about that at all.If he builds UNLV into a winner we will not be able to afford him.

Why are you panicking that we won’t be able to get him next season? Let him move from a low major to a mid major level and see how he does, and then we’ll get him after next season if he succeeds. If he does, he’s a perfect fit for SU being from New York State and having coached at Buffalo for years.Nah I will say I was wrong because I liked him. I liked him because he ran a modern offense.
