I'm actually kind of glad that's not on tonight except for the tragic circumstances that caused it. I'm not a late night person. I'll be able to quit work early tomorrow and watch the whole game.

ND has been pretty terrible in these spots going back to the Manti Teo year. I don't think UGA can put up 40+ on them though.

I said the same thing earlier. Obviously the circumstances are a nightmare, but I'm just done with football for today and like having something to watch tomorrow.

I do miss Sportscenter from the 90s. The smooth saxophone intro and simple highlights.

Yeah, the 80's and 90's were great. I remember tuning in and knowing would get all the scores I cared about. Now I get an editorial BS pile of crap that I don't care to watch, and haven't for decades.

As entertaining as Keith and Dan were back in the day they ushered in an awful era of schtick on ESPN that makes it unwatchable

You hate the SportsCenter guys being “stars” But loved the era of Berman, and Keith and Dan?

And SportsCenter doesn’t do much “editorial”. There was a couple years under Skipper when that was a thing. But it ended several years ago. That’s the domain of Get Up, First Take, etc. now.

And, that's why I'm not a slave to Sportscenter for the last 20 years. But, I can still bitch about it, because it is part of the whole editorial BD where people tell you what to think instead of delivering facts for you to process.

Why should I "get over it"? It's part of the whole problem. Everyone is always trying to tell you what to think instead of delivering the information that you need to generate an opinion. THAT is the problem. To be complacent is to be a slave to it.

Wow, it's not rage. Relax. I don't care who delivers me scores. I've never cared who delivers me scores. Their job is to deliver me scores, not entertain me. I don't care about their opinion. Do you care what Scott Van Pelt or anyone else thinks about sports scores? If you do, then this is for you. If you don't, it's a waste of time. There is no rage here. I find scores a million other ways. But, I do miss tuning in and knowing exactly when to expect the scores I want, because the American League were all together, then the National League, the NBA was all together...now it's an hour long editorial of them TELLING ME WHAT TO THINK.

How is it dumb to have organization? That way you know when the highlights that you want are coming. SVP and all the other people are telling you their point of view...as you said, that IS trying to tell you how to think. I grew up on Sportcenter and CNN Sports. I recognize the shift, that is when I stopped watching. There are far more efficient ways to find scores and highlights. I'm just saying, that I do not subscribe to the format. If you do, carry on.

I am no ND fan, but anyone not in the B1G or SEC winning it all is good for CFB.

Plus SU plays them in 25 which makes it even more exciting playing the defending champion.

Again. Why can they make calls like that which change a game and not explain what it was they made the decision on.

It was clearly H2H. The announcers saw it. The replay guy tv uses thought it was clear and obvious.

if it's not a penalty then state the reason being used.

Most every ref site out there I can find says it was targeting. Guys like Terry McAuley as well.

This isnt an example of not seeing it in real time, they reviewed it.
