I just watched his tape. He’s really a solid player. He would balance the floor being a lefty. Shoots it well, shows a really good midrange, can finish and find people. I thought Kentucky was involved with New Mexico’s Dent too. They can’t get both of them. If we’re involved, that’s a good thing.

Some of these kids are shopping themselves around to maximize their earnings to see if someone bites early. The smart play may be to sit back and wait for prices to normalize.

I was thinking the same, but hopefully they have prioritized their targets. Cuse is not Duke or another Blue Blood, but hopefully can compete moneywise with the SEC. Otherwise average pay equals average talent. Why settle for a 3rd or 4th round draft pick when the program needs 1st rounders to get back dancing.

I think we really need to make a splash portal get. This program needs a jolt of energy and hope. There’s a lot of good players out there. We just need to get the right ones. We need major upgrades in athleticism and skill.

They have a big board NFL draft style. There's so many good players out there though. The last thing we want is an AJ Storr or Coleman Hawkins situation.

TJ Power is available once again. I looked at his stats and he did not appear to get much playing time on a bad to average Virginia team. I recall that we didn’t pursue him out of high school even though he was interested in us.
