Not me. I believe a member of the richest Saudi family was a student here. If he somehow loved Cuse sports and wanted to tap into his family's riches, you're telling me you would turn it down??
I am. I have the money I have. If someone else wanted to take Saudi money, that is on them. There are a lot of groups I wouldn't take money from.

So just to confirm, you'd take money from anyone? Private Equity? The Saudi gov't?
Since neither of those entities are giving money away without a likely return on investment I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. Such a silly absurd argument.

I must have missed where Weitsman is looking to buy a stake in the athletic department.

Does that exclude the poker table?

Really? If the Saudi's offered me 1 billion bucks, and I mean it, I would tell them to, well you know
In my experience the Saudi’s don’t pay their bills or follow through on other commitments. They are good at meetings, drinking tea, and not getting anything of substance accomplished.

Riyadh is not nice to visit.

The NCAA's draft withdrawal deadline for players with eligibility remaining is May 28th. For now, Torvik projects us as preseason #49 in the country and #6 in the ACC (behind Duke, Louisville, UNC, SMU and Clemson). Not sure if the projections assign any likelihood to early entrants returning.

Alumni deserve that right.
The guy that owns JMA wireless is a St. Lawrence grad.
Several buildings at Syracuse University are named in honor of individuals who were not alumni but made significant contributions to the university through donations, service, or other forms of support. Here are some notable examples:

Shaw Hall

Named after Robert Shaw, the late husband of Mary M. Shaw, who donated $1.5 million toward the building’s construction. Robert Shaw was a businessman involved in the bakery industry in Chicago and later became an official at Union Carbide.

Watson Hall

Named for Thomas J. Watson, the founder of IBM, who received an honorary doctorate from Syracuse University in 1950. He also served as a trustee of the university.

Hendricks Chapel

Funded by a bequest from Francis Hendricks, a former Syracuse mayor and long-time university trustee, in honor of his wife, Eliza Jane Hendricks. The chapel serves as a multi-faith spiritual center on campus.

Crouse College

Named after John R. Crouse, a wealthy Syracuse merchant and banker who donated funds for its construction as a memorial to his late wife. The building was originally intended as a women’s college.

Tolley Administration Building

Originally known as the Von Ranke Library, this building was renamed in honor of William Pearson Tolley, who served as Syracuse University’s chancellor from 1942 to 1969.

Someone must be offering a bigger bag, wonder if Oregon or another school out West is involved.

If we could close with Agee from USC and Foster Grant from the GRAND CANYON, I think this would be a pretty solid roster.

It’s better than Yemen.

Looks like Will Wade is about to add a major piece

That certainly would change the discussion about NC State’s lackluster portal additions but I do wonder if they have too many guys at the guard spots…unless I am missing something, literally they would have 3 guys that are non-guards and they are more wing/forward types

Ok, so this guy has said he is intending to stay with UNC, but is in the portal. I think we would legit have the most complete roster in years at Syracuse if we could pull in Ven-Allen Lubin. I think he fits extremely well with the vision and would allow Souare to learn from someone that he can model his game after. Kyle, Lubin, and Souare is a solid 5 position 3 man rotation. This would be a momentous move!
