I think any bowl game is going to factor in that McCord, Diggs, Gadsden at a minimum almost certainly won't play.

The regular season record means more to me these days than which bowl game. The playoffs had already diluted the bowls, now that it's a 12 team playoff? Will be even worse. It's good to play in them though because it's developmental.

Drawing a culinary line here... it depends on what kinda lobsta roll... but I agree, a bit.. I prefer one vs the other, but I have a wierd combo flavor too on that.
