I saw us in the Holiday Bowl vs Colorado. San Diego would be nice right after Xmas and would be a fun playing vs Coach Sanders.

I went to our last Gator Bowl appearance in 1997 when Donovan completely smoked Clemson. Only been to 2 bowls in my life but I would try to make that one if McCord and company play.
A win in a top tier bowl like that would do so much for our program.

I was there, the Buffalo got loose. And not many noticed, except the 2 handlers desperately trying to hang on while they got dragged around the field.

Ismael might have had an early kickoff TD on the old switcheroo play too, but not sure, long time ago.

Thanks for posting that. I was at the Florida game in the dome when Dar Dar had the reverse for the touchdown. I've never heard the dome louder. I completely forgot about the one in this game. Rest in peace Kevin Mitchell. What a warrior.

I think this is the only West coast possibility.
No Sun for Cuse.
Between townies and alumni I know at least 50 in San Diego area & my black book is not above average.
Plus the matchup is interesting on multiple levels especially if Kyle makes an appearance.

Keep an eye on when Brett McMurphy releases his bowl picks. Last week he did it at 9:30 am or so on Monday. If he picks Syracuse to the Gator again, I would say this is a very good sign.

So much of our fate is intertwined with SMU, Miami and Clemson that until we know what happens with them, we really don’t know where we end up. So the next playoff standings show will be important to us as well.

I really think if Clemson wins against South Carolina, the ACC might get 3 teams in the playoff. And if that happens, I think we are playing in the Gator or Pop Tarts bowl. Lots of moving parts and I am sure the SEC will do everything they can to screw the ACC.
