2024 Holiday Bowl- Syracuse vs. Washington State December 27th, 8pm ET

I would have loved to see Kyle play one more game, but in this case might make it better to see what our back ups have in game action, If I was Kyle I would not play in this game.
He wont

I hope Kyle shows his loyalty to Coach Fran and decides to play. Wazzou is a very winnable game, and if he puts up huge stats, that could help his draft status. It would also show NFL scouts that he’s a win-first team player, especially when other top quarterbacks start opting out.

Its also a great opportunity for Fran get Cuse to 10 wins in Year 1. He can sell that, plus a top 20 ranked team to future recruits.

There is really no point in the team playing in this game, except for the practice, and getting some of the younger players life game action.

Already trying to talk my wife into this

backups who won’t play next year. Why would anyone want to see that.

Playing WSU doesn’t bother me. I want to play someone we can beat. I’m just waiting to know who’s playing and how much the University package is for the game. I’d rather play someone we can beat instead of getting mauled by Alabama. Their lines would destroy us.

Pretty bummed by the opponent. Holiday vs Colorado would have been fun, or even USC would have been a lot more interesting. Was hoping for the Gator vs. Alabama or South Carolina. Either way I wanted a bowl game where the program could make a statement.

Debating whether to go. Gotta figure out my parents' exact Christmas travel plans first, and see who's actually going to opt-in. It's also likely to be our last West Coast game til 2027, so that's a factor too.

We love San Diego and would probably figure all that out and buy tickets today if it was a better opponent. As it stands, we'll see.

I’ll be shocked if McCord plays in this.Gator against Bama or even Florida maybe, but I don’t see any upside in a matchup with Washington State.

I was upset about the Gator snub, but guess what I’m over it now. We have our opportunity vs the SEC the game after in Atlanta with Tennessee to start off next year. Essentially a bowl like game to start next year. We are playing in a beautiful city and prime time Friday night on FOX perhaps with Gus Johnson calling the game. The program is on a mission to win a national championship and this is the next step in the process!

Our chance to make a statement is next year against Tennessee.

The best thing that can happen is we all realize San Diego’s a paradise and that despite the opponent, a big orange crowd traveling cross country will improve perception.

We will need improved national perception if a miracle occurs and we get 7 or 8 wins next year. Maybe then a bowl will be willing to take a shot on us because of how well we show, rather than relegating us to the pinstripe
