Notre Dame has scored more TD's in one game at Met Life than the NYJ & NYG have scored in seven games.
At least they're not in primetime every week.Notre Dame has scored more TD's in one game at Met Life than the NYJ & NYG have scored in seven games.
Never thought I’d cheer for a patriots team to beat the Jets, but that’s what Aaron brings. Can’t stand him. Delighted to see him failing. The Roger’s move was so obviously going to end in disaster.
Goff has been so efficient but as my fantasy qb it’s been awful. Today for example, he was downright perfect yet got me 16 pts. Seeing the score I expected 30 pts but he’s doing what he needs to to put the Lions in a great position. Hats off to him and the teamSaw an crazy stat today:
Detroit Lions—— “They have more offensive touchdowns (24) than incompletions (19) over their last five games”
Goff is balling.
Unrelated—anybody else becoming a ‘fan’ of some player just based on those recent Netflix football shows? Quarterback and Receiver? It’s good to get some of that personality stuff. Started, for me, with the Formula 1 show, Drove to Survive. And then tennis with Break Point.
Almost gave it away, but Dak came through. But that 4th down play was dang close to PIGood to see the 49ers getting right in the second half
Yeah, I thought it should have been called. They excuse the ‘feet tangle’ thing when players are running in series or parallel, but this time, the defender was approaching from behind, right? So, isn’t it incumbent upon him to avoid contact?Almost gave it away, but Dak came through. But that 4th down play was dang close to PI
Unless they thought he was making a play on the ballYeah, I thought it should have been called. They excuse the ‘feet tangle’ thing when players are running in series or parallel, but this time, the defender was approaching from behind, right? So, isn’t it incumbent upon him to avoid contact?
But, he was behind the receiver. Even in making a play on the ball, you’re not permitted to go through the other player. The ‘tangled feet exception’ is meant for incidental/accidental contact as two players are moving through unoccupied position. I dunno—it’s all so ambiguous. I’ve never heard that rule actually explained, only applied.Unless they thought he was making a play on the ball
You like that!!I didn’t think Kirk had this in him. NSFW.
The feet tangle thing is so stupid. A cagey Db coach should just teach his guys a technique to create entanglements “accidentally on purpose” and you’d have an entire core of shut down cornersYeah, I thought it should have been called. I mentioned this yesterday in the thread ! I was not hallucinating! You like that!!
Yeah, I thought he was all holy and whatnot. This does not check out.
Wilson seems to be much better than Rogers at this point.Wilson and Rodgers have one thing in common. Both guys used their mobility very effectively in the past by moving around in the pocket, particularly Wilson as it helped him see over the taller linemen in front of him. Now he can no longer do that (nor can Rodgers) and isn't the threat he used to be to break your back with a 15 yard scramble.
Rodgers has played poorly. He also may have the worst OL in the entire NFL.Wilson seems to be much better than Rogers at this point.
I’ve heard that about 10 different teams, looking for an exscuse for their crap Qb playRodgers has played poorly. He also may have the worst OL in the entire NFL.
Well, when you have to spend all your money on an aging qb, this is what you getI’ve heard that about 10 different teams, looking for an exscuse for their crap Qb play
They should trade Adams and Rogers .. bring back salah .Well, when you have to spend all your money on an aging qb, this is what you get
