That's only the start. They need to bottom out everywhere.

As someone holding a Saints under 7.5 wins ticket the new coach bounce worries me.
NFL teams pride themselves on toughness , accountability , consistency . The saints fired their HC. Meanwhile the Raiders have followed this example in firing the only two things holding them back from greatness… their OC and offensive line coach. From here the Raiders will rise like the phoenix. That's only the start. They need to bottom out everywhere.
That was gross.KC RT has more non-called false starts than any player in history.
I believe he was literally the most penalized player in the league last year and is vying for the top spot this year.KC RT has more non-called false starts than any player in history.
EXACTLY. Imagine what the gap should look like?I believe he was literally the most penalized player in the league last year and is vying for the top spot this year.
true. but makes zero sense as the weaker team on the road and with a host of injuries, you would not go for 2 after the TD rather than kick the XP and thus seal your fate right there. lets say you have a 50/50 shot of converting. I can guarantee you that is a higher percentage chance of winning than OT vs the chiefs on the road.Makes 0 sense why you can't just let both teams possess the ball in OT in regular season too.
Bowles is terrible.true. but makes zero sense as the weaker team on the road and with a host of injuries, you would not go for 2 after the TD rather than kick the XP and thus seal your fate right there. lets say you have a 50/50 shot of converting. Agree. I don't understanding calling that timeout with 30 seconds left and then not going for 2. Here's a tip from a Bills fan- if you give Mahomes a chance to beat you on a last drive, he will.Bowles is terrible.
He always turtles in those situations. He cost them the Thursday night game against the Falcons too. He probably should be fired and they should elevate the O coordinator. Can’t be a defensive HC and have a defense that gives up nearly 30 a game.Agree. I don't understanding calling that timeout with 30 seconds left and then not going for 2. Bowles is terrible.
Can’t spell Blows without Bowles.. or something like thatBowles is terrible.
Bowles is such a classic meathead DC posing as a HC. You are the underdog. Go for 2 and shorten the game.Makes 0 sense why you can't just let both teams possess the ball in OT in regular season too.
that was the 80's Georgetown, Dixon Pitt, and Pitino Louisville defense that Baltimore played on that 2 pt conversion attempt. Commit multiple fouls and dare the refs to call them.Crazy game but yay some more missed penalties late. Again.
I actually thought that was one of Taylor’s better coached games. He was aggressive and didn’t mess around with the running game. The defense is horrible this year. Thats on the owner and GM. They’re basically the late 80’s Dolphins.Bengals got some breaks on the last drive but the 2 pt chance was a brutal miss. Also, gotta say if that was Mahomes or Allen, that is flagged in less than a second.
End result, horrible play calling on two earlier 4th and shorts and horrendous tackling on an 85 yard TD was the difference. I say it every week - the worst thing that happened to this franchise was Zac Taylor taking them to the Super Bowl - it makes him unfireable and he is the worst game day coach in the league.
Goal now is somehow get to 8-6.
He is clearly frustrated with the officiating and I don't think he's a fan of the current game which often resembles a 7 on 7 league. I don't blame him but like you said he's paid to be into the games and he is not.I love Al Michaels and he's arguably the greatest American sportscaster ever, but he seems very checked out of these Thursday night games. I get a "ugh do I really have to do this" vibe from him every time he calls a game lately. Which in fairness is probably every 80 year old on Earth who is still working.
