There's no such thing as a reach at QB if they end up becoming the guy. Just so happens that 1st rd QBs have went from being a coin flip to somewhere closer to a 1/3 shot of doing so. Can't hit on that 33% if you don't play the game.

Some years there aren’t franchise level QBs in the draft so then the teams just elevate the QBs in the draft to that level in their mind.
