Ya don't love that date to be honest. End of March can be a total crapshoot weather wise. At least the game is on a Sat though. 5 start seems a little late for that time of year but I am sure Hobart wants to get that student section nice and liquored up.

Dome not available? And Delaware in mid-March seems unpleasant. The sea is angry in the winter. So perhaps it makes sense.
Chantilly High School is a pretty big school. Maybe they have a nice stadium. It’s located 25 miles from DC, so it’s a recruiting opportunity for both schools, no doubt.

Loyola always plays a pretty tough schedule but this seems overboard for them. They have a lot of question marks coming into the year especially after how the last 2 seasons have gone. They could easily start 1-3 or 0-4 and things will get ugly quick.

and yet army is the only patriot league team that will scare them...as easily as they could go 1-3 or 0-4 to start off they could also go 7-1 in league play. they needed to play a tough noncon because the pl is so so bad and could be even worse than last year in the upper-mid tier after lehigh lost everyone. theyre not dropping maryland or hop...i suppose they could have dropped duke or gtown but those are high upside games and not a lot of downside

Ya I forgot how bad the PL is outside of Army right now. In retrospect this probably the schedule they need if they wanna have any sort of chance of an at Large (obviously they need to win some of these OOC wins for that to happen). PL has to get Navy figured out, to much dead weight in that conference right now.
