At least the Martian can beat out infield hits and steal bases. If the ball ain't going over the wall Stanton is useless. Problem is Cashman and the nerds don't have the stones to bench Stanton.

Lots of negatives from the first 2 games, but there are a couple positives.
1- Yankees were the best road team in baseball.
2- Berti looked pretty smooth playing first and his at bats weren’t bad.
3- Weaver has looked excellent and no sign of nerves.
4- Seems like we are down in the series, but it is tied and Judge has done absolutely nothing.
5- Yankees had best record in base against righties and Lugo is starting game 3

Definitely a good pitcher, I was just pointing out that we fared a lot better against righties than lefties

It looks like he just swings at the middle of the strike zone, regardless of where the ball is. He gets in that rut and goes for weeks that way. At least Cabrera can run to first, but he's too versatile to consign him to just DH, for IIRC, if you put your DH in the field, you lose the DH.

If Dominguez started the game in the field they'd take him out late innings for defense. His adventures in Seattle sealed his fate for playing the field in 2024. I'd rather start the Martian at DH and PH Stanton with the right matchup.

Costas seemed to go out of his way to defend him for the injuries that have led to him dragging a piano to first base.

During that double play, Costas shouting it's not his fault!
