2024 Yankees Season

I'm wrong. It's per day...

From 2023: Based on the current minimum salary of $700,000, a player is entitled to $3,846 each day he is with the big club.

One error - OK you can blame the closer for letting too many baserunners on, errors happen.

Two errors (even if one doesn't count as one) - Can't blame the closer at that point. Closers get in jams, and Holmes did what he needed to do to get them out of the jam twice.

Its $4,000 more than me and you made playing baseball today. Still a nice day of work.

Volpe gets some blame too.

Valid argument, but Volpe gets paid to do multiple things and Holmes gets gets paid $8 mil to do one thing. This is his first season since his rookie year that he has given up more hits than innings. And his numbers his last ten games are not worthy of a closer for a wannabe playoff team. Best thing that could happen is that he goes home for five days to get his head screwed on straight.

I don't like the pick. His girlfriends ugly.

I wouldn't worry about it.

Cashman will probably trade him away for some broken down infielder.

And Hess will end up in Boston and pitch a no hitter against us.

Wait, I heard Cashman hugs prospects?

Volpe, Verdugo, and Holmes have equal shares. The defense let Holmes down but he laid the foundation with all that traffic on the bases.
