Dude loves the media
I honestly have no idea why he would go there except for ego. Ole Miss is supposedly willing to pay what LSU will pay, and he can clearly win at Ole Miss. they love him there and the pressure is nothing compared to LSU. I know his daughter goes to LSU but most of his family, ex-wife included, are all in OxfordI read somewhere that there is a 77% chance Kiffin is LSU bound.
Agree with all you say. The only factor is the Lane Kiffin has always been about the $$$ and ego. He's had plenty of time to reject the LSU job and seems to like the attention, drama queen.I honestly have no idea why he would go there except for ego. Louisiana is a top ten state for high school talent, unlike Mississippi, which competes with Mississippi State for recruits, while LSU has no such competition. While Mississippi can match LSU's offer to pay Kiffin, it cannot come close to the NIL commitments LSU is making to players.I honestly have no idea why he would go there except for ego. I see lawsuits.Huh.
Who could have foreseen Lane Kiffin doing something like that?

No, Brian Kelly is not sympathetic. I don't have any problem with the way he was fired. And given that a kid at ND died on his watch . . . .the big winner: Brian Kelly. First, LSU makes him sympathetic in the way he was fired. Second, LSU finds a more hated human being to be his replacement.
That was Kelly's reasoning, also.Louisiana is a top ten state for high school talent, unlike Mississippi, which competes with Mississippi State for recruits, while LSU has no such competition. Kiffin wants to win a National Championship, and LSU is his best shot.
Last, but not least, Kiffin is gonna Kiffin.
