2025 End Of Season Coaching Changes

Hopefully no more then the clothes listed for sale
Remember he was Nixon’s pick. I was surprised we did not see more movement on the O for coaching changes.
It’s really concerning that Nixon could not or would not make adjustments after Steve went down and Ricky was a bust. Heck even Dino was able to make adjustments when GS went down. Again concerning his O only works with the perfect fit at qb.

After Angeli we had NO QB. It’s not a question of fit.

That’s my point. He did not try to alter the O in any way to create any points. Even Dino tried Dan and the wildcat to try to win games.
Using Dan against BC for a few plays does not count.
When you take away the forward pass, defenses are easy to play. Like the 50’s. No offense is gonna make that change.

We got real lucky against Pitt with that offense.
Narddogg just didn't change his defense against it and we ran for almost 400 yards
Georgia Tech figured it out and we could not convert 3rd downs
USF was ready and blew the doors off us
We needed Garrett Shrader to literally throw his arm off to beat Wake and make the bowl game

No one on our schedule was going to fall for the Villari special for long but I agree we did need to do something way different then what we did and it really needed to feature passing the ball

You could have had Coach Klein on special teams and they still would have finished top 20 net in punting because Stonehouse is that good. I did think our onside kick game was on point this year ... can't remember the last time we recovered one and we did it twice this season.

No inside info
I would think it was due to the terrible return game we had.
Lot's of issues covering punts.
Returning kick offs and only getting the 18 - 20 yard line.
Kicking game did improve and we got almost all of our punts off so I give him some credit for that turn around.
Agree. The return game was really the only weakness.

I am convinced his punts inside the dome were limited by the scoreboard. Every time he'd just be like 6' off of it. Insane athlete.
We really should have installed an "HVAC" mechanically directional fan system up in the scoreboard that we could turn on high when it got hot or cold during punts.

Definitely seemed to prioritize coaching over recruiting. Missing guys like Nick Williams will be felt. I don’t even know who the best recruiter would be outside Fran.

I like seeing Charlie Brewer brought on as an analyst. Curious if they still have some veterans like Don Brown or if he can convince Muschamp to help out as much as he can around his son’s schedule. Seeing some of the analysts some of these schools have now a days is insane.

Texas paid a fortune for Muschamp to be their DC. Luckily we don’t need a mentor for Vince.

Muschamp went to Texas.

I do wonder if we kept Don as it would still help Vince. Always a way to make things tighter, better or even mix some of their styles together. Don is a wealth of knowledge and he may not wanna work 14 hours a day anymore so analyst would be perfect.
