Yeah I get that but what are the other options? Portland or Charlotte I guess.

Salt Lake beats out Portland, Nashville over Charlotte. Elevation aside, Salt Lake makes a ton of sense.

Since it has been demonstrated that high elevation teams are the ones most disadvantaged over the course of the season, you should prefer to be in a division with them.

I am seriously considering going to see the Dodgers next season on an east coast swing so I can say I saw him in person. May well go down as the greatest player ever. Amazing.

That performance by Ohtani was the most dominant performance I have ever seen in any sport.

These quick starter pulls have not worked out well in the Seattle-Toronto series. Both sides, immediately after the quick pull runs come in. (Gausman GM1, Yesavage GM2, Castillo GM 4, Miller GM 5). Also goes back to GM5 in the Seattle-Detroit series when Kirby was quick pulled, and Speier immediately came in and gave up a 2 run HR.

Of course not all of the starters would have gone out without damage, But in the last 6 AL Games, there were 5 quick pulls and 5 times the bullpen gave up a run over the next inning - so the starters could not have done worse.

amazed over and over how MLB players are out of position so often on plays.. Outfielders never in the right spots. pitchers forgetting to cover first or backup bases. rundowns messed up because guys just stand around.
