Overall SoS is no comparison, NE's schedule is even easier than the metrics say when you look at the incredible opponent injury luck they've faced. I wouldn't say their D is elite but would agree it's probably better than the 9ers mash unit & Rams right now. It's a joke they're here with how Maye has played in the playoffs but I wouldn't rule out a better game from him in the SB, nothing to lose.But who did NE face this year? They went 14-3 with two wins over playoff teams - Carolina and Buffalo. Seattle had five in the regular season and beat a team yesterday that was clearly better than anybody NE faced. The QBs NE faced in the playoffs were Stroud and Stidham plus Herbert with no OL. Darnold was lights out yesterday.
