I’m surprised they can do this given the 105 roster limit and where we seemingly are Ship wise and the number of walkons we already have that likely are vying for spots on the 105

For Syracuse that’s a great year having a few guys missing a few games.

List Nixon for the year, Hatcher later, 3 DT’s had season enders, Wax missed 1/2 the season, Barnes season ender.

The difference was the Qb made it through the year .

and our #1 wr had a non injury missed almost all season

but the oline had enough parts and the QB stayed on the field.

some teams get that type of run for 5-8 yrs. We try to make it 5 games for a decade

105 is a roster limit. There are no restrictions on scholarships so theoretically you can have 0 walkons, 20 walkons or 105 walkons. I believe the SEC decided to leave the 85 scholarship limit in place as a conference but will still generally use all 105 roster spots.

Also should be noted that if you go beyond 85 scholarships, the cost of the additional ones goes against the $20.5MM direct payment cap for the first $2.5MM.

Doesn’t do any good if he’s not flexible or can’t run.

Enrique got some big arms now.

He’s put on a few more good pounds and is a little over 320 now but noticeably bigger in the upper body. Will cross train and multiple positions this spring and has a great shot to start somewhere in the fall.
Never considered portaling despite disappointment over playing time last season.He and his family are all in on the culture Fran is building and what Syracuse has meant to them for four years. Very appreciative.
Enrique will receive his degree in May and is working on a master’s through Newhouse. Outstanding representative of the program and all of Syracuse University.
