6-6 is terrible now? lol
Lol. Yeah that’s a really tough conference they play in. How about that out of conference loss to Villanova? You got anything else to add in response to my comments or is that all you’ve got?

Seems like it's perpetually been a struggle for us.

Of late for sure.

Perpetually??

“Four Wheel Drive” might beg to differ.

The "Four Wheel Drive" is a nickname for a legendary Syracuse University football defensive line from the 1980s, consisting of linemen
Tim Green, Jamie Kimmel, Bill Pendock, and Blaise Winter. These players from New York became famous as a unit, known for their toughness and camaraderie, a nickname that was conceived by Pendock.
The term is still associated with Syracuse football

All due respect to Liverpool legend Tim Green, but this was 40 years ago. The equivalent of someone talking about Pre-ww2 teams in the mid 80s

Can't wait to see Angeli healthy and throwing again. But, we should bring in at least 2 quality QB competitors and have whoever earn the starting nod.

Don’t call a team a FCS when they aren’t one you tool. Act like an adult, Delaware is going to make a bowl game. Calling them a FCS Team is stupidity.
It’s their FIRST year that they are NOT in FCS. Delaware will go to the lowest tier bowl in existence. Idle they can even go to a bowl in their first years in FBS? They are still losing to FCS teams (Villanova). So since Villanova beat Delaware, who beat UConn, who beat Duke, that means Villanova is better than Duke, right? Clown.

Bottom line. Angelo’s 382 yds vs UConnn was unimpressive. .

Gill said he has joined Angeli, Cook and sophomore running back Yasin Willis in conversations about preparing for next season. All four said the biggest thing is getting Syracuse’s new players assimilated faster than they did in 2025.

Gill said he thinks Syracuse took too long to get prepared for the season. Now that the offense will have its core players returning, though, he thinks spring ball will be more productive.

“We already know the structure now,” Gill said. “We already know how it’s not supposed to be and how to work. Like Coach Fran always says, we know how to work from all the seniors this year. Nobody will be able to stop us.”

Cook shared the same sentiment about spring practices and said he believes Syracuse would have competed for an ACC championship if Angeli were healthy.

Cook did not, however, commit to returning next season when asked Tuesday.

He said he will meet with Brown next week and let his agent handle “the business” side of the discussions.

Cook said he feels as though he’s gotten everything he’s wanted out of Syracuse in 2024 and that Brown has kept his word about everything.

Both Gill and Cook have NFL aspirations, and they both have been pleased with Josh Gattis replacing Myles White as Syracuse’s wide receivers coach/passing game coordinator.
Gattis recruited Cook out of high school, and both Gill and Cook credited Gattis for his meticulous attention to detail.

“He’s a perfectionist,” Cook said. “He looks at me in the same light as Henry Ruggs, Jerry Jeudy, Nico Collins. And he coaches me in the same light as those guys because he sees some of the same qualities.”

Gill now joins Angeli, Willis, freshman guard Byron Washington and freshman cornerback Demetres Samuel Jr. as players who have confirmed their plans to return to Syracuse next year.
I really hope Cook stays, him alongside Calvin Russell will be a deadly combo of Angeli can stay healthy.

Duke has a puncher’s chance at a berth in the CFP, and went 6-2 in the ACC. Tells me more than an early season upset. If Duke is a bad team, what’s that say about the ACC?

Cook was a massive disappointment. I'd take him back, but losing him does not seem like a big deal.
Cook had 6 catches for 113 yds in the Clemson win. Massive disappointment?! He only had a QB for the first 4 games. He’s a legitimate 5 star talent and he’s stayed out of trouble and from all reports say he’s a great teammate. I’d love to have him back.

One game isn't an argument for greatness. He underwhelmed me with consistent drops, and I saw him being caught from behind in the open field on more occasions. He has abilities, but far from a game breaker. Would I like him back, sure, he should be a good weapon. But he wasn't some all worldly talent some seem to hype him up to; with a good QB id guess his ceiling is 2024 Pena, not a true top target

He dropped balls consistently with every qb. Never broke tackles. If he wasn't a former 5 star player no one would be hyping him like he's a stud.

In the early portion of the season I thought he was the best player on the field in every game we played. Then he got hurt and I think it was a concussion. He was never right after that crazy fumble call when he took the overruled targeting shot to the head.

He led the team in receiving yards. Massive disappointment?! Clown.

Dude your overly emotional. 549 yards receiving isn't some superstar. Meeks was multitudes better player than cook, and nobody hyped him near to same level. If you disagree, cool, but you've been on a run of emotional posting.

I am happy Cook is coming back. He has a lot of upside, and while he dropped a lot of balls, I thought he looked good with Steve as QB, Clemson game was great. There are plenty of guys that should leave for everyone’s sake. He isn’t one of them

You do realize most programs, even elite ones, don’t have elite QB2s, right? Viable is the norm. What we have seen this year is obscene
That is not true. A few years ago Michigan couldn’t complete a forward pass after their qb went down.

I don't really know how you can assess anything in the passing game from the final 8 games.
