i will be surprised if garcia does not end up at uva, nd, or unc
It's simple really, the kids are getting a degree from Duke University and the career networking that goes with it.I seriously do not no how you could watch last years Duke team and still want to play for Duke. All that experienced senior talent and still an inconsistent hot mess of a team with a stale as hell offense. When will these kids figure it out. We are grabbing our own studs this year so it is a little easier to take, but god damn.
Yup, there's so much more to a decision than just the lacrosse (let alone something as granular as a scheme for a midfielder -- Duke is unquestionably a top tier place to play lacrosse on top of all the other benefits). It's simple really, the kids are getting a degree from Duke University and the career networking that goes with it.
Think an additional big factor is the the lvy league making less of an impact than in previous years. Those schools offer the same elite degree and career networking, but kids that also want to compete on memorial day weekend seem to be less likely to choose Ivy. Princeton is maybe the only school that is getting consistent solid recruiting classes these last couple years. Cornell Yale and Penn have been inconsistent at best recently. Harvard and Dartmouth are making some moves so far this year, but it has not been a strong start for several of the more prominent Ivys. It's simple really, the kids are getting a degree from Duke University and the career networking that goes with it.
Mad props to whomever Garcia paid to make his left quad look like our football MLB recruit’s physique that went viral…No more wondering about Garcia.
Good guess on this one!!!!!Taking a wild shot at this... but the one on the far left with the black hoodie looks like it could be Harry Schniedwind from McDonogh??

Foy had us at #7 until Brozek committed to Harvard.

Helps Syracuse's cause that some of the teams above them already have pretty big classes -
8. Syracuse - 5
7. UVA - 6
6. Michigan - 10
5. Princeton - 7
4. Harvard - 8
3. UNC - 11
2. Duke - 8
1. Notre Dame - 8
I think Notre Dame, Duke, UNC and Harvard will make up the top four when the dust settles. Hopefully SU can leapfrog some of the other teams listed above them though. Having two five stars and two other top 50 players gives them a really good baseline. If they can stockpile a few more top 100 players/four stars they should be in a really good spot.
How many more are we planning to take, since we'll have to be at 48 players eventually?
