2027 Recruiting

Let's hope they arrive earlier than Saturday. Weather has been so damn nice these past couple days and will be tomorrow, but it will take a major turn on Saturday.
 
some interesting whispers about the top attackmen out there...

i dont know if this is who jeremy was referring to being on campus but in addition to sobel, cuse is gunning extremely hard for riley woods and ayden matthews...woods is said to be an ivy league caliber student so it is going to take him a lot to pry him from a school like princeton. matthews may be a more realistic target...hearing that it is not necessarily a done deal that he follows his brother to penn state...

if jt cross doesnt go to notre dame, who are the favorites, look out for princeton. but my money is still on ND

holbrough is rumored to be zeroing in on UNC according to three different sources but was told maryland, duke, and notre dame are also in the mix...i dont think cuse is a major factor there unfortunately but ive been wrong before..

hop is said to be primarily targeting caldroney.

i would have thought cornell would be in the mix for some of these guys coming off the championship but not hearing much about them right now...

this could be a good cycle for princeton.

Good call, was referring to Woods and Sobel, believe both should be on campus along with a Top mid target from Upstate NY. I had heard SU liked Matthews but wasn't sure how hard they were going to go after him with Penn State and Hop supposed to be the favorites. Good to hear they are making him a priority though again as you noted lot of competition.

I think your info on Holbrough is correct, haven't heard anything about him and Cuse. Doesn't mean it isn't a possibility as you noted but I think UNC or one of the others you mentioned much more likely. I know SU is really gunning for Woods but he's going to take his time I think and it's gonna be a battle and with the IVY involved will be tough.

Cross seems like a ND lock. Interested to see where the 5 star from Carolina with local connections end up. Think SU could be very active with him especially if Woods goes IVY.
 
I feel like there are a handful of top attackmen whose names I haven't seen thrown around quite as much (Morsell, Stankavage, Lagunowich, King, even Colsey). I am very much not in the proverbial loop, but curious who's focusing on them and if Cuse has a backup plan at attack.

lagunowich has a brother at uva doesnt he?

morsell being from pa feels like a maryland, psu, uva, or gtown kid.

i could see cuse being in the mix for stankavage. i dont know what kind of student he is. obviously duke and unc have to be considered as well...

Anything inklings on Asaro? Really thought Cuse had a shot at Holbrough so that’s super disappointing. Don’t get what these kids see in UNC with how much they under achieve? I mean sure beautiful campus and weather, but you can find that in a lot of places.

Colsey is better than his brothers…but the Cuse grad Dad seems to not be favorable towards his alma matter. Was there something about recruiting Leo over his first kid?

The story is that he felt Desko didn’t recruit his kids hard enough so he got pissed off and they went elsewhere. Board consensus seems to be that Gait may have patched things up but doubt we are in play.

asaro feels like duke to me but i havent heard anything about him yet

With UNC recruits it's kind of a twofer. Good players are removed as threats from legit teams and more talent rots on the vine at UNC. It's not to say UNC is a bad team, but no program does less with more. I'm already seeing them say they are making it to MDW. The only fanbase that's more delusional is Hobart.

Disagree with this. Kyle is definitely the best IMO. By far the most explosive, and he has a cannon of a shot.
