Pokorny seemed to get banged up during the season, I wouldn't right him off just yet; he was a monster in the fall and made it down to the final cut for the U20s. And Luke Miller worked his way from the practice squad up to the second line midfield at the end of the year.

Nonetheless this is quite a haul. To be honest I don't see a 5 star player in Morsell, but Lagunowich is a stud and Cross is hands down the best player in the class IMO. Said it before, but watching him play he is incredibly reminiscent of Pat Spencer.

Other schools are making big investments, building new facilities with lacrosse in mind, but they’re all shared spaces. None of them are truly lacrosse-exclusive. That’s where Syracuse has a chance to separate itself.

Given the history and legacy of Syracuse lacrosse, it’s hard to believe any other school is more committed to the sport. But commitment isn’t just about tradition anymore — it’s about action. Facilities matter. Recruits care. And right now, Syracuse is falling behind in the facilities race.

Gait has the platform and the credibility to push this through. He has a real opportunity to create something that no other program has — a dedicated, lacrosse-only facility that reinforces the program’s identity and shows that Syracuse is still serious about leading, not just competing.

This needs to happen. And it needs to happen soon. Take over South Campus.

The stadium is nice but playing outside in below zero degrees isn't that attractive. Last time I was there I watched from my car. Frigid and bad lacrosse due to the weather. Im talking about an exclusive daily use facility that includes practice field, team film rooms, gathering areas and gym facilities.

The NIL era has unfortunately ended any possibility of a Lax only facility. Syracuse is spending a majority of the Rev $$ on fball and mens bball with some reserved for womens bball and Lax. Cuse is looking for outside revenue sources to help the Lax program with NIL and additional scholarships (some have been added under the new internal revenue sharing). However, more is needed just for what the lax team needs for NIL purposes. Hence my constant preaching on donations to the program.

As described by another poster, Fairfield Prep is a private school. But I understand where the confusion may have come from. Fairfield Prep plays in the CIAC in Connecticut, which is the public school league.
