In my experience, Central New Yorkers play Pitch and Western New Yorkers play Euchre. There's a few things in there I've never heard of or got, that card game's one of them.
Now it makes sense, I know about Pitch and I'm from Cuse, never heard of Euchre or whatever in my life. lolIn my experience, Central New Yorkers play Pitch and Western New Yorkers play Euchre.
Pitch is weird, Euchre weirder. In my experience, Central New Yorkers play Pitch and Western New Yorkers play Euchre.
I was raised playing Pitch. I've played Euchre a few times, but I just can't get into it.Pitch is weird, Euchre weirder.
"Honor your partner." "Honor your corner."square dancing in gym class, I remember it well
"Dive for the oysters, Dig for the clams" Did anyone actually enjoy square dancing in gym class?"Honor your partner." "Honor your corner."
I think every school used the same worn-out record.
I learned Euchre at IC from my Rochester friends.Grew up in Rochester. Learned Euchre early, and played almost daily with my friends.
Funny (lazy) that the picture they used showed cards that are not used in Euchre (only use 9's through Aces).
Haven't played in years.
