legit ? how well do we travel to bc and pitt--i've never gonethere were a ton of LSU fans sitting in seats that SU fans resold. but Pitt/BC will bring a few hundred like they always do.

in the last year??? that a low ball figureHerbstreit made a joke that half the dome would be LSU. That would be 21,000. Of course he's full of BS. There were 8,000 LSU out of 43,000. He's become a smug cokkzucker in the last year or so.
im not saying there was.Anyone who thinks there were 15,000 LSU fans there is
there were not 15K. they filled a corner and then another high section and random spots. 5-7 sounds about right
lets what for 6 months.. then i can apologize for not seeing what everyone else does. After reading your comments in the Ron Thompson thread, I don't think anyone can take what you've seen as credible.
storange said:Absolutely not a chance there were even 10 k. Im 100 percent sure. This 15 k crap is. just good old fashioned cny negative bs. All u had to do is listen for heck sake. If there were 15 k for LSU it would have been almost as loud on our 3rd downs. It wasnt
The people saying 15k or anywhere close are ones that weren't even there.
I wonder what's up with the Pitt game. There aren't any seats available in the last 12 rows of the upper deck sideline and corners. There's also 2 whole sections in 305-307 blocked out.
Tongue in cheek. Those who paid for parking passes were not happy that there were no spots on what most likely will be the only game they need the pass for. The woman who collected the money from those without a pass didn't seem too concerned however. Why was that fun?
i'm going with 8k. 40k actual people, 20% of the crowd.Exactly. They had one corner full, which probably equals around 4,000 seats. They also had probably another 500 in the upper corner of the opposite endzone and a decent smattering on the LSU side of the field. Probably another 1,000-1,500 or so there. Impressive showing, but the idea that there were even more than 10,000 is laughable.
I think you are correctDon't they always not make those tickets available unless the ones in front of them sell out? Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe 305-307 is always blacked out, since it's allegedly overflow for the student section.

That would be my guess, 8k. Maybe a tad less. As to actual people it was 43,100 as announced.
Agree. The main away corner probably had at least 5k. But then they had the other upper corner. And then where you noticed the most was when their defenders started asking their crowd to make noise, seemed like a lot of people mixed into those sideline seats down low behind their bench.

I don't think so. The ones that aren't available are the cheaper ones up top that are non-preferred. They're always available. And the overflow student section is another section over.
