But Maryland clearly is, IMO

They have a brutal schedule but they will make some noise in the Big Ten. They’ll win at least two games vs tOSU, PSU, Michigan and Michigan State.

Pittsburgh Steelers is worse. Their fans want to see a competitive game but right now it is 30-3 in the beginning of the fourth quarter.

Maybe we shouldn't have been ranked. We had a good year last year. Actually a great year for our standards of late. Many have said all we played was cupcakes last year and we got fat on them. Sure makes me think.

How about this, what if the team also bought into all the hype about the rankings, penciled in for the Orange Bowl, Devito will be great right off the bat. All the college guru's talking about our All-Americans and all ACC players that we have. Maybe, after all the lousy seasons, the coaches let the players run with it and the players thought all they had to do was show up in college park on Saturday. Just a thought, but just as good as any I have seen on here.

If you believe Pre-season rankings, particularly in the 15 to 25 range, you are probably a gullible person.

Despite how many times you are told “That was the 2018 team and this is the 2019 team”, optimism overcomes experience.

Half way through the season, polls are a more reliable.

Having the worse loss of the century by a ranked team to an unranked team will go into the trophy case right next to having the worst loss by a ranked team to anybody when we got blitzed 0-62 by the Hokies in '99 and the worst loss by a top ten team when we lost to the Canes 0-59 in '01.
