Yea I actually thought we would drop to like 8-9 but then some teams lost.

The Louisville-Cincy stretch should be some entertaining basketball.

Edit: We did fall to 9 in he AP poll.

The team seems to be at a turning point with it's flaws having been exposed somewhat in both the 2nd half of the Detroit game and the Temple game. The 2nd half letdown in the Detroit game can't as easily be dismissed as just a momentary loss of focus.

The tendency to only go with the most experienced players when in a closely contested game seemed to demonstrate that we don't have a go-to type player like we've had in the past several years. MCW trying to take on the mantle of being the primary scorer seemed to hurt us in that the offense became very one dimensional, ergo easier to defend.

It's essential that we get some modicum of contributions from the younger guys, DC2, Christmas, Cooney, and even Jerami Grant. I would much rather we lose a few games while finding ways to develop those players and as a result give the team more depth than to overplay and over rely upon the starting 5/6. You have to wonder if some of the missed foul shots were a result of being a little big gassed. Grant is closer to being able to contribute than most would give him credit for.

#7? .. pretty generous. We are definitely a top 20 team .. top 10? .. not yet

This year we're a top 10 team even if we don't improve. There are no "good" teams outside of Duke right now. None.

Last year would have been a different story.

Really? If Temple's Lee could abuse Rak/DC2 imagine what Cooley would do (ND is 21 in the AP) .. we have been exposed big time.
