His cousin met up with him the first day. Hung out for about an hour. Him, and maybe his wife, will be at the scrimmage on Thursday.

Given what's been going with football players the past few years, this may not be a pic the university blows up and displays at the new IPF.

meh, I think this issue has come up every year the team has been at Drum. These aren't pictures of players in their dorm room posing with hand guns. These are players who are going through weapons training with the Army.

Ahh they gotta let them take pictures. If we all still had flip phones, you would see all these guys with digital cameras. I'm assuming that there is a "no texting, social media" rule in place tho

  #Syracuse Head Coach Scott Shafer says Sophomore WR Steve Ishmael is fine after a knee scare in practice today.

• He has a bruised knee. He ran into Duerig.

Shafer: WR Steve Ishmael has a bruise on his left knee. He ran into freshman C Andrejas Duerig while fielding a punt during open portion.

Was a really bizarre play. Riley Dixon's punt went way long. The OL never saw it coming.

Ishmael should be back tomorrow.

The team went through a "jog through" with no helmets after heading inside due to lightning.

Shafer said he brought injured DE Ron Thompson to Fort Drum to keep him involved. He can teach younger DL, lift upper body.
