Always good to be undefeated, even better to be 20-0 on the year.
Thought Keita played great was active on the O boards, had some great blocks, and scored some point that we really needed. Just wish he could board better on defense but all in all a great game for him.
Thought Roberson was active out there especially on D. Only took 1 or 2 shots so hard to get a feel offensively. Wish JB would give him a couple minute run in the second half but its hard to sub Grant and Fair out down the stretch.
Concerned about bench scoring, Silent G is really pressing, he did hit that 3 in the first half but also airballed another and a 4 foot flooter (he did the same at Miami). We need him to provide some scoring off the bench hope he stays active.
Concerned about our shooting overall, Cooney is really struggling to hit open shots that were automatic earlier in the year. It was obvious he wasnt going to be able to keep up his OOC % which was off the charts but hes under 25% now in Conference. Really hope he breaks out of it soon because we need his outside shooting if were going to make a deep tourney run. CJ also seems to be missing a lot of jumpers that he is usually money on and was draining earlier in the year. Would like to see us run him off more screens for quick shots off of passes verus him going ISO so much. Like that he is shooting 3-4 3's a game I think we need someone to take some of the pressure off of Trevor and Tyler in regards to the 3 ball.
Grant had a another really good game, missed a few in close he normally makes but was a beast on the board. Also like that Rak is being agressive on O he missed a few in close but loved that hes trying to find his offense. Ennis was Ennis another great performance down the stretch you pretty much expect it at this point.
Big game Saturday, hope we have a good O performance because Duke is playing well and teams have been getting a lot of open looks from 3 against us the last few games. Still think this team has a real good shot at a deep tourney run but concerned about our offense, the lack of shooters and scoring off the bench causes this team to hit some long lulls offensively. Good news is were still undefeated despite the shooting issues and lack of bench. Really hope Cooney and Fair hit a nice grove again shooting wise especially when we hit that tough part of the schedule down the stretch and of course Saturday.
