Can anyone recall the ACC ever being so weak? Just two teams in the Top 25.
The Big Ten has twice as many in the Top Ten. What's going on?

Think the SEC is allocating more funds to their programs, and Roy/K are being exposed in their age. JB too.

Not to mention the shortened preseason timetable for practices and workouts HAD to kill one and done teams.

has any yr very been as goofy as the top 25 this yr. there is about 10 teams that have had solid yrs.. the rest are just whoever is having that 2-3 games while others stagger around. in what other yr would a team like Loy Chi be top 20 with that record and zero good wins 18-4 is nice but teams often go 25-2 and struggle to get noticed when you play no one.. this yr they might find a way to top 15.. Drake got there and fell out at 21-2. They are solid 30-40 type teams who might go on a run this yr though.

it will be interesting how far down the B10 the NCAA goes with teams .500 in league and 1-2 games over .500 overall. the top teams all lost to avg teams which has spread that depth around like crazy. Really after Iowa not much quality in the rest of the league. but they can bite you.

The Sec? They have Alabama and Arkansas.

Now if you said the two Big conferences are dominating you would have a point.

Interesting and good point. When you at programs like Lville with Mack and NC State with Keatts they stand to benefit from the eventual retirement of K, Roy, Hamilton and JB. Making a move sooner to someone like Oats (just for example) would be a wise move to be ahead of the curve. As for Duke I wonder if Capel is watching that very closely.
