ACC Football Commitment List: Atlantic Division, June 22
Will Raynor
June 22, 2013
It’s been a busy two weeks in the ACC recruiting world, especially for Florida State and N.C. State. With summer camps finishing up, more and more commits are trickling in, and for some schools, the 2014 class is coming together quite nicely.
All names of recruits will appear in bold.
Boston College
Doug Flutie’s nephew, Troy Flutie, will follow in his uncle’s footsteps in becoming an Eagle. Other recent commitments include DB Kam Moore and safety Kevin Bletzer.
Clemson
The Tigers picked up kicker Alex Spence. Alex Spence. Earler Kendall Joseph picked Clemson over Duke, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, and Louisville. Korie Rogers will join Joseph in the linebacking core.
Florida State
The Seminoles have been busy in recent weeks, securing five new recruits including OL Ethan Frith, WR Ryan Sousa, and TE Mavin Saunders. See why OL Stephen Gabbard picking FSU is a dream come true for his family. Malique Jackson has committed to play cornerback. Unfortunately for the Noles, four-star WR J.C. Jackson has decomitted.
N.C. State
Dexter Wright, he of the infamous “Baller” recruiting letter, still ended up picking the Wolfpack Two weekends ago the Wolfpack picked up an offensive trio, including two offensive linemen - Tony Adams and Eric Shute - and WR Jefferie Gibson. State then followedthat up with a pair of defensive players, including DT B.J. Hill and DB Kalen McCain, whom you can check out here.
Syracuse
Syracuse’ s class is now up to five members, after adding another LB, Colton Moskal, as well as defensive back Rodney Williams.
Wake Forest
The Demon Deacons went back to Chesapeake, Va., to land another recruit, this time getting a commitment from running back Terrence Ricks, out of West Branch High School.
Check out the updated lists and player rankings below.
