The AAC is no longer athletic…
If I'm the ACC, I take that deal. Ask for the $200 over 5 year they dont get revenue. That leaves about ~$2-3m/year/school extra during that period.
It also sets up the ACC to poach more B12 schools when this all collapses.

If I recall, the revised ESPN deal stopped the ACC's right of expansion without ESPN's blessing. Memphis probably does not make the deal worth it for ESPN to pay out another share.
Add a team that plays MLAX.
Where does Memphis get $200 million from?
Hey, it's not inconceivable in a few years that the ACC is adding Sacred Heart and LIU. All will be fixed.Add a team that plays MLAX.

Not now. They aren't getting into any legal matters or financial matters in until the ACC deal makes everyone available.I thought the SEC wasn't interested.
Football they are nothing. I’d be worried more about BBall. In the B18 they can rule but in the SEC they’ll be Nebraska footballeque.Does anyone think UNC to the SEC may be similar to UNL to the B1G except their football won't have as far to fall. Perhaps a little UNL and a lot of Rutgers - a new Vandy in the SEC.
Utah fits that.Add a team that plays MLAX.
End result is SU will wind up fighting for the scraps from Longshank's table.Football they are nothing. I’d be worried more about BBall. In the B18 they can rule but in the SEC they’ll be Nebraska footballeque.
Really the B1G should strike first and offer UVA now. Are they turning that down to wait on UNC? It is a better fit for UVA and leaves a potential spot in the SEC for Tech.
Even if UNC still goes to the SEC, the B18 can get into the South with Miami and GA Tech.
The BT and SEC are both waltzing around one another trying to figure how to finalize this crap to their ultimate advantage. Meanwhile, there are people actively trying to save the ACC, though ESPN seems unconcerned to make an effort on its part.Football they are nothing. I’d be worried more about BBall.
