ACC tournament projection v. 2.0

I would be happier if this is the yr they reward the little guys than reward teams in the big conf.

Indiana and Duke and MSU if they lose again can not be in the discussion.

even within leagues you have a team like Lou playing 12 and ND playing 17 games..

Wisc is in.. but watch them play.. they are gonna end up .500 and 2-6 down to the end. they only have wins vs NW/Neb/PSU in their last 10 games. other than Lou 3 months ago nothing. maryland is their next best win.

Rutgers didn’t have Geo Baker.
Who is one of their best players if not their best.
on the road too. I dont think we blow that lead at home to them. but who knows.

He is their 3rd leading scorer. Harper is their best player.
Geo Baker won Big Ten player of the week last week.
He isn’t their 3rd best player and I would take Baker over Harper.
Baker is a playmaker who doesn’t just score. He plays defense and gets other people buckets.

I don’t think we win the game because of Buddy unless Jb played Kadary like he has done recently.

At that point Kadary wasn’t going to play over Joe. Joe’s awful forced shot started Rutgers run when we were up 5.

If we played now I would pick us but not when Joe would have been playing more than Kadary with Buddy.

rutgers was also playing much better during that stretch. we had a bad half or 2 but not so much bad game stretches.

Plus the larger point is, especially this year, there are a million cases of "so and so good player missed this game against this team". The committee isn't just going to look at it from a Syracuse based POV.

The outcome of the ACC/BIG 10 challenge may carry extra baggage for ACC.
What is this supposed to mean? The B1G won 6 out of 11 games. The results were very close. The B1G dominated day one and the ACC dominated day 2.

Baker is overrated, Harper is their best player imo, he has pro potential, he needs to shed some weight and needs to bring it more than he does, he goes through stretches where he is disinterested.

tend to agree on Baker, but...
they were also w/o McConnell that game and I think he's a way underrated player

Funny that Xavier is one spot behind us at KP, 56 to our 55 and 2 in NET (53 vs 51)

They did beat Oklahoma (35 KP, 32 NET) and Creighton (18 KP, 26 NET) at home. Both teams have 1 quad 1 win, we're 4-1 in Q2 vs 4-4 for them.

Really pretty similar profiles, at least at first glance
I made a mistake. I was confused with Xavier with Seton Hall. Anyway many analysts picked these two teams above us. They are Big East 4th and 5th.

Let's see if the committee puts Michigan State in the field with 12-13 losses. Same with Seton Hall.

Pitt only down 2 at halftime right now @ Clemson... if they could pull this off it would ensure us not playing dook on Wed.

That wouldn't be bad but I prefer Clemson wins a bit so they can get closer to a Q1 win
