ACCNetwork finally coming to Comcast

We will have to wait for details but if memory serves, unless ESPN and Disney made big concessions (which seems unlikely as the agreement was not reached until this late date), the agreement should result in at least $5 million more per each ACC school.

I believe this will also push the ACCN past the B1G network in terms of subscribers. They might still earn a little more per subscription and still get more revenue for their channel. Given how popular B1G football is, that is probably likely.

But we should be even with the SECN now in terms of subscribers and way past the Pac12 network. I think the ACC moves up to third in terms of annual revenue (with the B1G and SEC way in front).

Finally. This is the best news ever

I just checked my Comcast channel lineup and it said "Bwaaaahaaaahaaaa" fooled you again!

Apparently, Comcast gets paid for my clicks on fake ACC channels in their lineup.

Glad more Cuse fans will be able to follow our team on tv. I have Spectrum which does have ACCN.

So you're saying we can afford Dino's buyout now...

No, don't think the ACCN is even coming on board on Comcast until next month.

The extra cash won't start showing up until next year.

My guess is that the SUAD already has plans for how to spend that money. If the SUAD is even allowed to keep it.

Nice!

I'm pretty happy with the Xfinity streaming app to my smart TV great service and no need for a ton of boxes. Was annoying paying for ESPN+ but automatically being blacked out of all ACCN games.

I found it rediculous that every other league has their games on cable for both football and basketball on CBSS and FS1 and I couldn’t get most of the SU games. ESPN and the ACC lost lots of eyeballs during this spat. I can pull the plug now on having two subscriptions just to watch the ACC network online. Still no actual date when it will appear on?

It takes two to tango. Comcast lost me as a subscriber over the ACCN (and their costs), and I'm definitely not alone.

I was switched to Hulu Live for a while and then they lost the regional sports network which is what half of our games end up on. This season I was paying for my cable and Hulu Live during football season just to make sure I got all the games. Very happy they are finally getting this together

Any update for the FSU game?

Will this still be blacked out on ESPN+?

David Glenn estimates the ACCN deal with Comcast will net each ACC school another $6 million per year.

Not bad.
