I'm suddenly getting Ad Blocker popping up on both desktop and kindle. I remember a thread awhile back on how to stop it. Can anyone help?

This is a difficult question to answer. It sounds like you are getting pop up windows while you are surfing on the Internet and want them to stop. The most common way to do that is to install Ad Blocker. Hence the confusion.

If you want to stop popup windows (ads), install Adblock.

Thanks Tom, but I guess I didn't make the post clear enough. It's a pop up that only occurs on this SU web site. It's a whole page, that occasionally blocks out what I'm trying to view. Oddly enough, it's orange and blue calls itself Ad Blocker, or something close to that. I do remember awhile back that there was a thread about it because quite a few on the board were having a problem with it. Haven't had it for a few days now and hopefully the last Spy scan I did has removed it.

I get it sometimes as well on the iPad and my kindle and neither have anything other than the standard browser installed on them

For you or others who might not have a popup blocker installed and want popups to stop, there are differents ways to do this, and they differ by the browser software you are using.
