17/7 - someone is going to pay him. He’s not going to get it. Definitely, not at SU. SU could get a lot better for $3 million. Someone who actually tries on both ends of the floor.

No doubt. But, programs will see the productivity. Some P5 will roll the dice on that if/when he enters the portal and withdraws from the draft (just guessing on entering the draft part). His injury history is also a red flag.
That’s awesome. I have spent a lot of time in C’ville. Great college town.
Hope he gets a warm welcome when he returns to the Dome (next season I believe?)
Brent Pry for Virginia Tech football. As an aside, can anyone think of an example (college or pro sports), where a coach was fired, and then immediately came back as an assistant coach of that team?
I’m not trying to disparage Donnie. It’s nothing to do with him. In fact, I expect him to have much more interest than you and most in here seem to should he enter the portal. I just think UVA specifically is a less likely landing spot as their top scorer / best player plays the same position as him.Correct. Donnie wouldn’t start at UVA. People are not paying attention when they say Donnie wants $3 million. He has a higher opinion of himself than how he actually performs. He won’t see $1.5 million, which isn’t anything to sneeze at.
