Alabama: 5 players tested Positive for COVID

Sooo... The NCAA policy of no on campus students no football... Will this be another case of "We might let them show up eventually, soo.. What we said earlier no longer counts."? (see Cal Berkeley)

I'm for sports without a student body present. The NCAA doesn't want the optics. They've been there since June, in a pandemic, and noone freaked out about that...(I'll guess there were no other students taking in person class) Just another bubble.

For the love of all that is holy. Get all the major conference leaders and the NCAA in a room and figure out how to move this deal to Spring!

This is quite simply NOT happening. Figure out how to get half the cow in the Spring.

we will see , soon

it will really come down to parties, but if 75% of the kids going to school are living off campus does it matter if its virtual or in person anyway?

Kids could pick it up at walmart but because they're college kids it's 'linked' to college.
Probably. If you check states #'s, you'll see a huge # of cases linked to group homes/settings. Shared dining, restroom, showers, living etc... Kids will do what Kids do anywhere. Putting them in the proven (by 50 states) best place to spread infection? What do they think will happen?
