If you cant stop Albany, you aint stopping anyone. Im not going to get my hopes up that something is magically going to change though. 40 games in and defense is still optional and guys aren't getting yanked for failing to show effort on that end.

Majstorovic needs more time. He is really good rebounder and hustles.

I hate to say this but bringing Lampkin in here is a detriment. He can’t play smaller teams but Red isn’t going to just sit him. We were doing really good with him on the bench.

Which brings me to me next point. Red has to stop subbing when we are on runs. He makes the most boneheaded moves I’ve ever seen. JB would leave a group out there all game if they were playing good.

About as comfortable of a win as we can expect this year. Trying to be positive, but really disappointing rebounding in the second half against a smaller team that resulted in a much closer game than it should have been.

I used to get incensed at JB for pulling a guy for ’errors’ within the zone, but… werent we playing zone at the end today? And Bell was in the (top) corner and just inexplicably ran past the offensive player, and the guy just went around him…. And I wished Red had handled it the same way JB would have. Just a ridiculous thing to see.

Much earlier, in m2m, Moore was ‘guarding’ someone and instead of hedging to the guy’s right hand, he let the guy just dribble right, right around him to the Hoop. Not sure what we are doing out there sometimes on D.

Still too many instances where Lampkin hedges and continues an unnecessary switch, way out past where he should be, on a player who isn’t even moving to the rim. Leaving a gaping channel through the lane, putting our other defenders at a disadvantage.

If JB could play his starters for 48 minutes in a 40 minute game he would have. Not sure how that could ever happen but you get the point
