That's fantastic! Pretty young to get a head coach position even in high school it seems like, but Alec seemed mature beyond his years. Hope he does great and sends some guys our way.

There was nothing flashy about him, but he always got it done. I really liked him as a player, and he seemed like a fantastic kid. I have to think he'll make a pretty good coach. And hopefully he has some big time prospects he can send our way.

He had a really good career at Syracuse but was exceptional his senior year. Always remember his game winning catch versus Mizzu with the good Dr in the back of the end zone after.

So, found Nassib highlights of that game on Youtube. Looks like it was 4 catches on the last drive, one of which there was also a holding penalty on the CB covering him.

Congratulations to Alec one of my favorite players to ever wear the Syracuse uniform.

Glen Burnie has really struggled in recent years. I believe they only won 1 game last season.

Glen Burnie is located a few miles south of Baltimore. It is about 9 miles north of Arundel HS, where Alec played HS ball. The good news is that there is nowhere to go but up.

Toni Braxton went there. So did Branden Albert, an OL at UVa whoops a first round draft pick and had a long career in the NFL.

He also made a key catch at USF. Our season hung in the balance and he made the vital reception. Cuseregular, tomcat and myself were down in that corner and saw Alec's catch.

Ahhh...good old Glen Dirty. He will have his work cut out for him. Glen Burnie has a lot of challenges. High crime rates, lots of drugs. Their competition is very good in county -- Severna Park, Broadneck and Annapolis High in Annapolis, South River and North County. Quite often there, if the player is good they will go to one of the local private schools (Archbishop Spalding is nearby) or they will be placed in a better high school (Severna Park is very short distance away). Good luck to Alec.

yup. Going to be a hard hill to climb but hopefully he can turn things around. Would be great for the kids and school if he could.
