All in favor of dallas??

I'm in unless my wife sells the house in the next 23 days !

Absolutely in. I'm an hour's drive from the Cotton Bowl and haven't seen SU football in person since 2002.

BC to Dallas maybe getting traction. Seen it in two different projections this morning. Seems like Dallas, Shreveport, and Detroit are in play for SU

The last time I lived 4 or less hours from a Cuse game? 1993 during my first assignment to Texas. Got to witness one of the first Coach P What games...:bat:

BTW, wife not too happy, canopy deployed on patio w/weight plates. Hofmann's being grilled...thankfully I have extra tailgate practices now being bowl eligible.

And you call yourself a blogger?:)
I also call myself General Zod, the world's foremost expert in salt and vinegar chips, and Joey Jo Jo Junior Shabadoo, but that doesn't mean much either.

For Texas guys...I noticed Hofmann's not in Albertson's anymore...say it isn't so? They were at Brookshire's too in N TX and I called one store and the guy said not there also...Hmmm

Maybe you should also call yourself Sybil with all of those personalities.;)

Long flight down but ya I guess I'll head down
Nah, the flight isn't too bad depending on where you're coming from. 3.5 hours from Boston, around 3 from Philly/DC/NYC...if you fly direct it's easy.

For people in New England, JetBlue flies direct to DFW from Logan.

this will only help prep for final four in april, which is at jerry's world

Huh?

The linked article has Syracuse going to Detroit. Not ideal, but far from being "left out".

Mea culpa. Didn't see them in there.

That's good news. I'm assuming buffalo has a flight down

Might look at driving over to Detroit or Buffalo if the flight is too much from Canada.

You can get a nonstop from Detroit...Buffalo you are connecting through Cleveland, Detroit, Atlanta, Chicago, etc...I don't think Buffalo has nonstops on Southwest to Love Field (Dallas). Be advised Dallas has two airports

I noticed that too! I was hoping it was a temporary situation. At least in Dallas there's the Hofmann's Hots restaurant right at the base of the Margaret Hunt Hill bridge (also known as "Large Marge"). It's like a tricked up Hyde's.
